Post- Paris incidents; Beautiful article

I should start by saying that I know I’ve ‘made a promise’ of writing more, but I just came back from my long winter holiday back home (ya a7la balad, ya Kuwait ❤ & the beautiful Oman) and we got exams rights now. Woop!

Anyway, been reading so much about the Paris incidents and Charlie Hebdo. Been seeing people blaming Islam for this and many people on twitter wishing, I quote ” #KillAllMuslims” that I get disgusted more and more with every day that passes by.

I’m not gonna argue over my opinion or whatever, but personally I AM NOT Charlie. I am all those Palestinian children, Syrian children, Pakistani, Nigerian… and so on. I am humanity. I stand with those, with those about whom the media never says anything.

It’s not okay to kil one Christian, but they can kill thousand of Muslims? Bullshit.

As I was looking around Facebook I bumped into this article and I wanna share it with you all because it is wonderful.

” […] terrorism has nothing to do with Muhammad, any more than the Crusades had anything to do with Jesus . There is nothing in the Islam that is more violent than Christianity. All religions have been violent, including Christianity […] “

Votul: Drept sau nedreptate?

Jurnalul unui geamăn...

Autori: Andreea Din, Alexandra Mamota,Andrei Danut

To admit that there’s something going on doesn’t mean you’re weak

It’s been such a long time since I wrote here. To be honest mainly because I’ve been out of the country and the past month I’ve been so busy with university and the Students’ Association. I’m back in business, if I may say that.

But what happened to me last year? Well, in the next couple of posts I will be explaining what happened to me, in a more indirect way, so whoever reads this, understands that having a breakdown, admitting that there’s something going on, doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a weak person. Matter of fact, it means you’re strong enough to admit that you’re a human too.

I know it’s hard to say ‘I’m not okay and I have to do something about it’. But the moment you will do so, things will become easier. Only then you will be open to change. Only then you will accept that you need help and as scary as it may sound, sometimes you need professional help. However, this is according to your personality. The stronger you are, the less professional help you need.

Thankfully I got over it by being close to my family and friends and last summer really helped me. I’ve been away the whole summer holiday from the 12th June to the 21st September.. having therefore the time to recharge my batteries. & here I am baby! Ready for another year! My last year of university.

But more details you will find out in the next post.

Stay tuned! Thanks for reading & God bless!

Help needed

Hey guys,

Mum’s having her own podiatry centre and we need to find the proper name for it. Can you please click on the link and choose the option you like the most? Thanks a lot!

Ps. Kuwait because the centre is there.
Ps 2. European because, well.. it is European.
Ps 3. Every time someone called the hospital where mum worked, they asked if that’s ‘Iulia’s Clinic’ so mum thought it would be attractive and easy to remember for the patients.

Thank youuuuu! 🙂

Turkey and Palestinians stood together today to honour the ten Turks murdered by Israel aboard the Mavi Marmara aid ship headed for Gaza four years ago.

The commemorative events began at Gaza seaport beneath the memorial erected in honour of Cengiz Akyüz (42), Ali Haydar Bengi (39), İbrahim Bilgen (61), Furkan Doğan (18), Cevdet Kılıçlar (38), Cengiz Songür (47), Çetin Topçuoğlu (54), Fahri Yaldız (43), Necdet Yıldırım (32) and Ugur Süleyman Söylemez, who died from his injuries this week aged 51.

Rachel Corrie’s 5th Grade Speech

Remembering Rachel Corrie, who in this childhood video, gave such an inspiring 5th Grade Speech, then went on to LIVE by her altruistic ideals.
On March 16, 2003, Rachel was brutally run over and crushed to death by an IOF CaTerrorPillar bulldozer while seeking to protect her friends home, with whom she had lived in Gaza, from demolition.
The bulldozer then REVERSED back over her.
Her family’s Quest for Justice for this senseless killing continues to THIS DAY.

Protect Lawyers Fighting for Prisoner Rights in Palestine

I recently joined a group on Facebook, ‘WE ARE ALL PALESTINE 2’, so I’ve been updated with many petitions and many actions that have been going on inside Palestine and outside too.

Been reading a lot about the imprisonment of Shireen and Shadi Issawi and I’ve came across this petition.

Therefore, if you believe in a #FreePalestine and not only, if you just believe in humanity, please do sign this petition.

Free Shireen and Shadi Issawi! Free Palestine!
